A Gothic Revival Bed & Breakfast

The Inn at Woodhaven is a historical mansion in Louisville, Kentucky -- built in 1853. Listed on the National Register, Woodhaven is an excellent example of Gothic Revival architecture. All the original features are still intact -- including the elaborately carved woodwork, ceiling plaster's work, diamond windowpanes with trefoil decorations and interior shutters, and 14-foot arched gothic doors.

Conveniently located near many of Louisville's finest restaurants, attractions, and shopping, the inn's gracious staff invites you to rest, relax, read... and enjoy the many lovely porches and gardens at the inn.

Make yourself at home in the inn's common areas where you will find books, magazines, and after dinner liquors. Enjoy the luxury of your elegant guest room in the Main House, the Carriage House, or the spacious and private Rose Cottage.

Guestrooms

Each of the inn's eight spacious rooms is furnished with elegant and comfortable period antiques and reproductions. Ranging in price from $95 to $225, each room features exceptional amenities, including luxurious linens and towels, private baths with exclusive bath products, and TV/VCRs. Some rooms have fireplaces and spa tubs. All come with our exceptional hospitality.

Master Suite $95 - 125

Our spacious Master Suite features a queen, four-poster bed, private balcony, and sitting room with daybed. The bath features a 10-foot-tall steam shower with gothic tile. Warm brick red walls, Victorian hot air balloon wallpaper, and American Gothic furniture give this room old world charm.


Attic Suite $125 - 195

This 1200-square-foot suite features two bedrooms, a sitting room with a day bed, and huge bath. One bedroom offers a king bed, the other has an antique 3/4 bed and trundle bed. The bath features an incredible spa tub, steam shower for two, and two pedestal sinks. Very private and quiet, the Attic Suite makes you feel like royalty.

Breakfast

Our renowned Breakfast is served daily from 7am to 9:30 am and until 10:30 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. For early birds we have our continental ready at 7:00am each morning.

For our guest's comfort, our dining room is furnished with separate tables, white tablecloths and napkins and fine china. Fresh flowers, flickering candlelight and soft music enhance your dining experience. For those who want to linger in their room, breakfast may be ordered and delivered to you in a festive basket.

Woodhaven is conveniently located near I-64 and I-71, with easy access to Louisville area attractions, restaurants, hospitals, and shopping favorites.

  • Take I-64, I-71 or I-65 to I-264.
  • Exit at Breckinridge Lane North.
  • Right at Kresge Way.
  • Left at Hubbards Lane. Woodhaven is 1 block on the right - 401 South Hubbards Lane.
